The 2019 GWM Steed 5 2.0 VGT SX Double Cab is a rugged and dependable bakkie built for both hardworking business use and everyday practicality. It is powered by a durable 2.0-litre variable-geometry turbo-diesel engine producing 105 kW and 305 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox for strong pulling power and reliable performance. Despite its capability, it maintains efficient fuel consumption of approximately 7.9–8.3 L/100 km combined, and with a large 70-litre fuel tank it delivers an excellent driving range of around ±840–890 km per tank, making it ideal for long trips or site work.
